Hi all

Last Wednesday 9 March I managed to get back to Snapper Rocks to see the quarter finals and semi finals of the 2011 Quiksilver Pro surfing. Ten times World Champion Kelly Slater won the event, after competing against Australian Taj Burrow in the final. Here are some pics:

Semi finalist Jordy Smith starts a huge aerial which has to turn into a ‘bail’ (during his morning quarter final)

(The gallery has a 7 shot sequence of Jordy’s “air”, as above.)
